Leonard “Len” Kenning of St. Augusta died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, at his home surrounded by family and friends. He was 64.Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in St. Augusta with Rev. 
Robert Rolfes officiating. Relatives and friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, and after 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary Help of Christians Parish Center in St. Augusta. Parish prayers will be held at 7 p.m. Friday in the Parish Center. Entombment will take place in the parish cemetery mausoleum.Leonard N. “Len” Kenning was born July 25, 1948, in St. Augusta to Edward and Isabelle (Gondringer) Kenning. He lived in the St. Augusta area all of his life. He farmed the family farm until 1985. He worked as a foreman for Feneis Plumbing, Sy-Ray Plumnbing, and El-Jay Plumnbing formany years. He was a lifetime member of St. Mary Help of Christians parish.
Len enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was proud of his orchards of apples, pears and grapes. He also loved visiting and playing cards with family, friends and neighbors. Len is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his brother Elmer (and Barbara) Kenning of Luxemburg; his sister Lorraine (and Stephen) Mader of Avon; as well as a niece and many nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He also leaves behind special friend Marlys Bishman. Len’s family wishes to thank his caregivers through St. Cloud Hospital Hospice, Home Instead Senior Care, and Andy Fritz from El-Jay Plumbing for all that they did for him.
