Saturday night at the Eden Valley-Watkins gymnasium, local fans witnessed the 12th straight win for the Lady Eagles, as they easily handled the Rocori Spartans, 53-38.

EV-W’s senior center Courtney Dilley led the pounding, with 21 points. The Eagles took a 9-point halftime lead and never looked back, claiming the non-conference win. Eden Valley-Watkins maintains their conference record at 11-0, and moves their overall mark to 16-4. The Lady Eagles’ team box score: sophomore forward Greta Stommes, 8; senior guard Holly Schumacher, 4; junior forward Dani Nelson, 14; senior guard Missy Kummet, 6. The lady Eagles are home to Rockford on Tuesday, February 12 and host Holdingford Friday, Feb. 15.
