KAHS and the Hunger Squad

The Kimball Area High School and the Hunger Squad would like to thank the following organizations and businesses for donating to the Kimball Feeding Countries Food Packing Event held Tuesday, March 25. Fairhaven Lions, Kimball Lions, St. Augusta Lions, Watkins Lions, Kingston Lions, Kimball Sport Boosters, Kimball Wrestling Boosters, PIE, Kimball Fire and Rescue, South Haven Fire and Rescue, Living Way Church in Sauk Rapids, St. Anne’s Catholic Church, Kimball United Methodist Church, American Family Insurance, Harvest Bank of Kimball, Mill Creek Creamery, and  Kimball American Legion. The Hunger Squad would also like to thank the following for donating gift cards and products for service projects and door prizes: Schwann’s, Dairy Queen of Annandale, McDonalds of Annandale, Subway of Annandale, Taher, Pearl Lake Lodge, Viking Coca Cola, Bernick’s Pepsi, Buffalo Wild Wings, Papa John’s of St. Cloud, Chicago Pizza, Papa Murphy’s, China King of Annandale, Knaus Sausage House, Sysco Foods. Thank you to the individual donors, to the students and staff of Kimball Schools for making this event fun and meaningful, and to Mary and Ezra of Impact Lives for all your work to make this event run smoothly.

DeWayne Mareck re-election announcement

Thank you to the constituents of Stearns County Commissioner District One for your support over the past eight years. It has been and continues to be a privilege and honor to serve as your Stearns County Commissioner.

It is with great humility and excitement that I announce my candidacy for re-election to the Stearns County Board of Commissioners for District One.

Given the opportunity, I will continue to be a strong voice on the Stearns County Board by balancing decisions with available resources. The guiding principles in making those decisions are Stearns County’s Core Values which include Maintaining Public Safety & Infrastructure; as well as Protecting Vulnerable Persons & the Environment.

Evelyn Stone’s family thanks

THANK YOU ALL for your willingness to “BELIEVE!” for EVIE!

Little Evelyn Alazne Stone’s family sends thank you upon thank you for the prayers, love, and financial support generously given to assist with medical expenses relating to little Evie’s care. This past December of 2013 she was diagnosed with Primary/Idiopathic Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (IPAH) specifically, or PH in general.

It is difficult to come up with words that are just right to express our great appreciation and gratitude for your acts of kindness, caring, and generosity. We are humbled. A special Thank You to Laura Meyer and Alissa (Kuseske) Keil (benefit organizers), and Kimball Elementary teachers: Ms. Mary Bernardy, Mrs. Theresa Niemi, Mrs. Melissa Herrington, Mrs. Patti Bauerly, and all the fifth- and sixth-grade students for allowing the benefit/donation table to happen at their KES Fish Fry.

We wish to thank everyone from the Meeker County Sheriff’s Office, and Litchfield, Watkins, Kimball and Eden Valley Fire Departments, and Gold Cross Ambulance for working so hard to ty to save our home Monday night, Feb. 17. Your efforts were greatly appreciated. Thank you, again.
