Thanks to many friends

Look around and you will find the greatest treasure of all: friendship. And that was never more evident than in all the prayers and words of comfort offered on Don’s behalf through his long struggle with dementia. We would especially like to thank the staff of the Annandale Care Center and his hospice team from North Memorial for their care given to him.

To Father Tom Olson who made weekly visits to pray with Don, and who was the celebrant at Don’s funeral mass. To Samuel and Hannah Ehlinger who were mass servers; St. Anne’s Church choir and organist Frosty Schiefelbein, and the ladies of Group 4 who served the meal. To friends Bev Orson and Bev Chollett from The Cottages who served lunch after the wake. To the members of American Legion Post 261 and two members of the Minnesota National Guard who provided graveside services and honor guard.

To Thomas Ehlinger who was always there for us from the beginning of Don’s long journey from this world into God’s Heavenly Kingdom where he is at eternal rest. And finally, to Dingmann Funeral Care for their comforting words of sympathy and for conducting Don’s funeral with tender loving care. God bless everyone who shared that friendship!
