Notice is hereby given that the Board of Appeal and Equalization for Fair Haven Township shall meet on April 25, 2013, at 9:30 a.m. at the Fair Haven Town Hall. The purpose of this meeting is to determine whether taxable property in the jurisdiction has been properly valued and classified by the assessor, and to determine whether corrections need to be made.

Leslie Rose has requested a Special Public Hearing for an Interim Use Permit for the Rose Gravel Pit. Located at 4561 182nd Street, South Haven MN 55382; in Section 09 TWP 122 North Range 28 W. Parcel # 09.05628.000.
The Applicant operating the Gravel Pit is Knife River Corp - North Central, and their address is 4787 Shadow Wood Drive NE, Sauk Rapids MN 56379. Knife River is requesting the temporary placement and operation of an asphalt plant, mining/processing operations, stockpiling of material and truck hauling for local townships, county and state projects.

OF CANVASS MEETING
Notice is hereby given to the qualified voters of Fair Haven township, County of Stearns, and State of Minnesota, that the Annual Election of Town Officers and Annual Meeting will be held on March 12, 2013. In case of inclement weather, the meeting and election may be postponed until the third Tuesday on March 19, 2013.
The election poll hours wil be open from 12 noon to 8:00 p.m., at which time the voters will elect:
One supervisor for a term of three years.
One treasurer for a term of two years.
The Annual Meeting will commence at 8:05 p.m. to conduct all necessary business prescribed by law.
The Annual Election and Meeting will be held at the Fair Haven Town Hall.
The Board of Canvass will meet immediately following the annual meeting.
