Five members of the Luxemburg Lions put their talents to work “sprucing up Spruce,” their adopted cabin at Camp Friendship in Annandale. Camp Friendship is a part of True Friends, which provides camp services and other opportunities for children and adults with disabilities. Supporters for many years, the Luxemburg Lions volunteered an entire Sunday to make sure the cabin is at its best for summer campers. The group stained the exterior, replaced rotten boards and fascia and also hopes to paint the interior before camp starts. The Lions donate or use proceeds from meat raffles to purchase most of the needed supplies.
