July 18-20: Pickin’ in the Park is for all ages

Minnesota Pioneer Park in Annandale invites everyone to “Pickin’ in the Big Woods” First Annual Pickers Festival July 18, 19, 20, 2014. This is an acoustic Pickers Festival for all ages and all abilities. There is no admission for Pickers, and $6 for those who just come to watch and listen. There is primitive camping available for $10 per night (No Hook ups) Porta Potties on site. Open Mic Stage for those who want to practice their skills and stage presences. Your hosts will be Earl Jarosh and Ron Blade from MBOTMA along with Tom Schuveiller and Denny O’Brien from INSIDE BLUEGRASS “The Radio Show”. They will be broadcasting live Saturday morning. June 28: Kimball Legion to march

Kimball American Legion members and Auxiliary will march in the Fair Haven Old Settlers Day parade Saturday, June 28. The parade is at 10 a.m.. Be at the club house at 9 a.m.

June 28 EV Library fundraiser

Eden Valley Area Library is hosting a fundraising bake sale 9 a.m. Saturday morning,
June 28. We are asking for contributions of any baked goods, wrapped and ready to sell (and priced if you wish). Please drop all baked goods off at the library between 5-9 p.m. Friday night, June 27, 306 State Street North. Anything you contribute will be very much appreciated.

June 24 Kingston Legion meet

The Kingston Johnson Kelly American Legion Post #483 and Post Auxiliary members will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 24, at the Kingston American Legion Hall.
