The Watkins City-Wide Garage Sale is planned for Saturday, May 18.

Fare For All returns to Annandale

Sandy Holthaus was the site coordinator of Fare For All in Annandale for many years, but was no longer able to continue. Fare For All closed in September 2012. After much thought, Pam and Charlie Lamb decided they needed to bring Fare For All back in the Annandale community.

The next Fare For All food distribution will be from 9:30 to
11 a.m. Saturday, May 25, at Annandale City Hall. Volunteers may help from 9 a.m. to noon. Fare For All is a monthly program that provides groceries to anyone for a reduced price. Order must be received by the preceding Friday before the distribution.

Fare For All is held on Saturday each month at Annandale City Hall from 9:30 to 11 a.m. May 25,
June 22, July 27, Aug. 24, Sept. 21, Oct. 19, Nov. 16, and Dec. 14.

Household Hazardous Waste truck collecting in Kimball

Saturday, May 4

Stearns County’s Household Hazardous Waste truck is beginning its summer mobile collections. The truck will be in Kimball doing a collection next Saturday. The truck travels to cities around Stearns County over the summer months collecting hazardous products homeowners no longer want or need.

The truck will be in Kimball at A.M. Maus & Sons from 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 4. 


Retirement celebration May 7

After 34 years with the Kimball Post Office as a rural route mail carrier, Larry Schneider will retire May 3. There will be an open house celebration from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, at the Triple R Grill and Bar in Kimball. No gifts, please.
