We are starting our first “Book Club” at Eden Valley Area Library. If you would like to participate, please plan on joining us at 5 p.m. Thursday, March 14, for an organizational meeting at the Eden Valley Area Library. Eden Valley Area Library Grand Opening March 10

The Eden Valley Area Library is hosting a Minnesota author during the Grand Opening of the library. Mystery writer William Kent Krueger will be at the library for book signing and the debut of the 12th book in a series “Trickster’s Point,” on the New York Times Bestseller List.
This Grand Opening is free to the public at 2 p.m. Sunday,
March 10 (the original February date was postponed because of bad weather). There will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony and also refreshments served.

Eden Valley Area Library receives grant

A Meeker Cooperative grant of $1,000 is given towards constructing a handicap-accessible restroom for the library. The Eden Valley Library applied for the grant through the Meeker Cooperative “Roundup” program. Library Winter Reading Program began Jan. 2

32 library locations on Wednesday, Jan. 2, and ends Saturday, Feb. 23. The program’s theme is “Escape Into Reading.” Participants must be in sixth-grade or older.
