The Kimball Senior Choir will present its spring concert Sunday evening, May 19. It will be held in the Cafetorium at the high school. Many soloists will be featured in this concert. Mrs. Sands said, “The quality of these voices is so amazing, if they asked to sing a solo, I have to give them the opportunity to perform.” “You may hear their C.D.’s some day”.
Selections are from “The Phantom of the Opera,” “Les Miserable,” “Fiddler on the Roof,” and others. The State Superior award winning choir will perform “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” which they will be seeing at the Chanhassen Dinner Theater Wednesday, May 22. Much thanks to the “Boosters” for providing funds for the transportation.
The choir is under the direction of Arlene Sands who will be in her 30th year as District Vocal Music Specialist at Kimball.
The public is cordially invited to attend this free night of entertainment.
