Sealed Bids
The City of Kimball is taking sealed bids for a 2000 Ford Crown Victoria, 4-door car (prior to 2008 it was used as a police squad), mileage is approximately 120,000; the paint scheme is the traditional black and white. The vehicle is offered “as is” with no warrantees expressed or implied.
Bidding will start at $1,300.00. Sealed bids may be submitted to: City of Kimball – Sealed Car Bid, P.O. Box 238, Kimball, MN 55353, or delivered to City Hall at 1 Main St N. Sealed bids will be accepted until May 31, 2013. All bids will be opened at the June 4, 2013, City Council meeting. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

Important Information Regarding Assessment and Classification of Property
This may affect your 2014 property taxes
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Appeal and Equalization for City of Kimball shall meet on April 2, 2013, 6:00 p.m.-6:30 p.m. at Kimball City Hall. The purpose of this meeting is to determine whether taxable property in the jurisdiction has been properly valued and classified by the assessor, and to determine whether corrections need to be made.
If you believe the value or classification of your property is incorrect, please contact your assessor’s office to discuss your concerns. If you are still not satisfied with the valuation or classification after discussing it with your assessor, you may appear before the local board of appeal and equalization. The board shall review the valuation, classification, or both of necessary, and shall correct it as needed. Generally, an appearance before your local board of appeal and equalization is required by law before an appeal can be taken to the county board of appeal and equalization.
