Joan Pauls of Richmond, formerly of Watkins died Sunday, March 3, 2013, at the Paynesville Area Hospital. She was 85.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 7, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in St. Nicholas with Fr. Tom Olson, Fr. Paul Folsom, and Fr. Richard Gross officiating. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, at the Ertl Funeral Home in Watkins. Parish rosary will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home followed by parish prayers at 6 p.m. Friends may also call one hour prior to services at the church Thursday. Interment will be in the St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery in Watkins.
