Special services at Kingston Apostolic Lutheran Church

Special services will be at Kingston Apostolic Lutheran Church. The Friday evening service, May 3, is at 7:30 p.m. The Marriage Seminar, Saturday, May 4, Session 1, is from 9-11 a.m. Session 2 is 1-3 p.m. Session 3 is 5-7 p.m. This session is directed to youth and young single adults, with a bonfire to follow. Meals are served at 12 p.m. and
4 p.m.

Pastor Rodney Johnson will be the speaker. Sunday Worship Service will be held at 10:20 a.m., and at 2 p.m. Rodney Johnson will be holding a seminar on Alzheimer’s from a caregivers perspective. All services are free and open to the Public. Walk-ins are welcome, we are asking for RSVP’s for meal counts!

KCP presents ‘Footloose’

Kimball Community Playhouse is proud to announce “Footloose” as it’s 2013 Summer Musical production, to be held July 12 and 13 at 7 p.m., and July 14 at 2 p.m. in the Kimball Area High School Cafetorium. Auditions will be Tuesday, May 21, and Wednesday, May 22, from 7-8:30 p.m. in the Kimball H.S. FACS room. Please enter at door 2 in the front of the building. Rural Stearns Faith in Action receives Older American Act funding

Rural Stearns Faith in Action is pleased to announce that our program has been approved to receive funding through the Central Minnesota Council on Aging as a part of the Older American Act. The Older Americans Act of 1965 was the first federal-level initiative aimed at providing comprehensive services for older adults. It provides funding to render services to adults 60 and older for nutrition, supportive home and community-based services, disease prevention/health promotion services, elder rights programs, and caregiver support services.

Maine Prairie Cemetery Clean-up May 2


The Maine Prairie Cemetery will have a clean-up and work-time Thursday, May 2, starting at 5 p.m. Any help would be appreciated.

In case of inclimate weather, it will be held Thursday, May 9,
at 5 p.m.

 

Kimball Cemetery annual meeting


The 2013 annual meeting of the Kimball Cemetery Corporation will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday,
April 18, in the Kimball City Hall. If you have loved ones interred or own gravesites in Kimball Cemetery, you are encouraged to attend. There are fees to consider and decisions to be made that require your attendance.
