Jeanette Sollitt of Kimball died peacefully Monday, Feb. 24, 2014, with family at her side. She was 93.
Interment will be at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minn., at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 29, 2014, assembly area 4. The Ft. Snelling Memorial Rifle Squad will provide the military honors. There will be a memorial celebration following at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum in Chanhassen.
Brianna Altenburg of Watkins died accidentally Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014, at her home. She was 4.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 4, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Watkins with Fr. Jerome Naduvathaniyil officiating. Burial will be in the St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery.
Duane “Pete” Peterson of Sauk centre died suddenly Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014. He was 79.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 1, at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Sauk Centre with Father Andrew Marthaler officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will occur at a later date. A luncheon will follow the Mass.
Albert Waltzing of Osakis died Friday, Feb. 21, 2014, at his home. He was 73.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Osakis with Fr. David Petron officiating. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, at the Roy-Hetland Funeral Home in Osakis with a 7 p.m. prayer service followed by a Knights of Columbus Rosary. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the funeral at the church. Burial will be at St. Alexis Cemetery in West Union.
Oliver “Ollie” N. Iverson of South Haven, formerly of Maple Grove, died Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014, after battling cancer. He was 80.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Feb. 22, at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 7401 County Road 101, in Maple Grove. There will be a private interment.
