I looked upon the cloth of life a thing of beauty to behold,
My eye was caught by the shimmering light of a Thread of solid gold.
This Thread had strength and courage and many things uncommonly seen,
It stood out as a Thread of greatness upon the Master's skein.
The Master used this Thread in places that needed an uplifting touch,

Raymond Voigt of Nevis, formerly of St. Augusta, died Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at St. Benedict's Senior Community. He was 85.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 24, at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in St. Augusta with Rev. Duane Pribula, Rev. Lloyd Haupt, and Deacon Kenneth Rosha con-celebrants. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, May 23, and after 10 a.m. Friday, May 24, at the St. Mary Help of Christians Parish Center in St. Augusta.
