TIME AND PLACE: Notice is hereby given that the Board of Managers for the Clearwater River Watershed District will meet at the Annandale Middle School located in the City of Annandale, Minnesota, at 7:00 O’clock p.m. on March 12, 2014, to consider adoption of a resolution ordering the amendment of the Lake Augusta Eurasian Watermilfoil Project #01-2 to include provisions to treat other aquatic invasive species (AIS), in order to provide for ongoing operation and maintenance of Project #01-2’s stated goals.

Public Notice: Clearwater River Watershed District Requests for Proposal for Legal Services

The Board of Managers of the Clearwater River Watershed District (CRWD) hereby requests formal proposals for legal services. Written proposals (seven copies) from the individual/firm who would be interested in providing legal services to the CRWD should be sent to:

CRWD board of Managers Work Session Jan. 22, 2014

UNOFFICIAL MINUTES Clearwater River Watershed District Board of Managers Work Session January 22, 2014 7:00 PM Kimball City Hall, Kimball, MN

Chair Schiefelbein called the Work Session to order at 7:00 p.m. Managers Jeff Golden, Paul DeGree, Mary Ellen Wells, and Bob Schiefelbein were present. Others in attendance were Dean Flygare, Orv Jonsrud, Cole Loewen, Engineer Rebecca Kluckhohn, and Administrator Dennis Loewen.

Motion #WS14-1-1: Golden/DeGree, moved to adopt the Agenda with the change of Engineer Kluckhohn’s presentation under presentations, followed by Targeted Watershed Demonstration Program discussion. All managers voted aye.

Engineer Kluckhohn presented on the Kingston Wetland and Targeted Fertilizer Projects.

Engineer Kluckhohn presented on the upcoming interview for the Targeted Watershed Demonstration Program on February 7, 2014.

Discussion was held on Lake Betsy Internal Load Reduction Feasibility Study, and the potential to submit a grant proposal to the Legislative-Citizen Commission on Minnesota Resources.

Engineer Kluckhohn left at 8:10 p.m.

UNOFFICIAL MINUTES Clearwater River Watershed District Board of Managers Meeting January 8, 2014 7:00 P.M. Annandale Middle School, Annandale, MN

Chair Schiefelbein called the regular meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Managers Jeff Golden, Paul DeGree, Mary Ellen Wells and Bob Schiefelbein were present. Also in attendance were John Gleason, Mike Hankee, Commissioner Chris Husom, Kathy Jonsrud, Orv Jonsrud, Roger Rauschendorfer, Cole Loewen, Engineer Rebecca Kluckhohn, Advisor Merle Anderson, and Administrator Dennis Loewen.

Motion #14-1-1: Wells, seconded by Golden, moved to adopt the agenda with addition of discussion on District legal counsel under new business. All managers voted aye.

Under presentation, no one was in attendance from the Clearwater Harbor Property Owners Association. The Board took no action in regards to the Clearwater Harbor Sanitary Sewer System.

Chair Schiefelbein called the regular meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Managers Jeff Golden, Jerry Risberg, Paul DeGree, Mary Ellen Wells and Bob Schiefelbein were present. Also in attendance were Russ Anderson, Greg Bild, Jeff Hagg, Roger Halford, Rolf Hogan, Orv Jonsrud, Brandon Larkin, Jeremy Sivula, Jeff Westrum, Cole Loewen, Engineer Rebecca Kluckhohn, Attorney Stan Weinberger, Advisor Merle Anderson, and Administrator Dennis Loewen.

Motion #13-12-1: Wells, seconded by Risberg, moved to adopt the agenda. All managers voted aye.

Advisor Anderson gave a brief introduction for Attorney Weinberger. Weinberger informed the Board he would be retiring from legal practice at the end of the year, and thanked the Board for the strong working relationship. He also praised the Board for the work the District has accomplished during his tenure as District Attorney. Weinberger began working with the District in May of 1977.
