Notice is hereby given to the qualified voters of Fair Haven Township, County of Stearns, and State of Minnesota, that the Annual Election of Town Officers and Annual Meeting will be held on March 11, 2014. In case of inclement weather, the meeting and election may be postponed until the third Tuesday on
March 18, 2014.

Testing of electronic voting equipment for the upcoming township election will take place on Feb. 28, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at the Fair Haven Town Hall.

Fair Haven Township is looking to hire a part-time employee. Hours will vary weekly approximately 6-10 hours per week. Duties will include but not be limited to lawn mowing, shop work, truck driving, and road grader operator. Class B license with air brake endorsement required. Hours will increase to a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week in the fall of 2014.

NOTICE is hereby given to residents of Fair Haven Township that filing will begin on December 31,
2013, and close on January 14, 2014, at 5:00 p.m.

Fair Haven Township Golf Cart Ordinance No. 1
Subd. 1. This ordinance shall allow for the operation of golf carts on the township road known as Bayview Road from Bayberry Road until the bridge which is the Wright County line. It will require the owner to have purchased a permit from the township, sign the permit form and display the sticker on the golf cart. These rules are pursuant of State Statute 169.045 Special Vehicle Use On Roadway.
Subd 2. Time of road travel will be sunrise to sunset. They shall not be operated in inclement weather except during emergency conditions as provided in the ordinance, or when visibility is impaired by weather, smoke, fog or other conditions or any time when there is insufficient visibility to clearly see persons and vehicles on the roadway at a distance of 500 feet.
