Kingston Township Notice of Board of Appeal and Equalization

 

Important Information Regarding Assessment and Classification of Property In Kingston Township 

This may affect your 2014 property taxes

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Appeal and Equalization for Kingston Township shall meet on April 2, 2013, from 1:00-1:30 p.m.
at the Kingston Community Center. The purpose of this meeting is to determine whether table property in the jurisdiction has been properly valued and classified by the assessor, and to determine whether corrections need to be made.

If you believe the value of classification of your property is incorrect, please contact your assessor’s office to discuss your concerns. If you are still not satisfied with the valuation or classification after discussing it with your assessor, you may appear before the local board of appeal and equalization. The board shall review the valuation, classification, or both if necessary, and shall correct it as needed. Generally, an appearance before your local board of appeal and equalization is required by law before an appeal can be taken to the county board of appeal and equalization.

Kingston Township Notice of Gravel Bids

 

Notice of Gravel Bids, Kingston Township

Kingston Township is asking for sealed bids on screening, loading, hauling and spreading of class 5 gravel, on roads in Kingston Township. All bids must be in the form of cubic yards. Include in your bid the cost of class 5 for road work assistance, wash out, frost boils, emergency calls and you must work with our township board and grader operator. We will ask for random tests on gravel loads being hauled. A certificate of insurance and general liability must accompany bids. The township board will not accept any bids that include a surcharge for fuel. Work is to be completed by July 1. Any gravel delivered after this date will be reduced by $100.00 per day until fulfillment of contract has been met. The board reserves the right to reject any or all of the bids. Kingston Township Annual Meeting March 12

Kingston Township Annual Meeting

Kingston Township board will hold their annual meeting for township residents Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at 8:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Kingston Community Center. All residents are encouraged to attend. The annual meeting is to set levies for 2014, and discuss any pertainent business of the township. The next election of officers will be March 2014.
