Oct. 7-11

Please call at least one day in advance. Meals may be picked up.

Monday: Swedish meatballs, paprika potatoes, spinach, bread/margarine, ice cream, milk.

Tuesday: Liver or pepper steak, buttered boiled potatoes, peas, bread/margarine, apricots, milk.

Wednesday: Roast beef, mashed potatoes, carrots, dinner roll/margarine, pudding dessert, milk.

Thursday: Chicken chow mein, rice/chow mein noodles, Oriental vegetables, Mandarin orange gelatin, brownie, milk.

Friday: Creamy vegetable soup, turkey sandwich, tropical fruit, crackers/margarine, cookie, milk.

Suggested donation for those
60 or older is $3.85, under 60 is $6.55. Eden Valley diners are served at the Civic Center (attached to the city offices building), and should reserve a meal by calling Mary Lou Newcomb at (320) 453-8375. Watkins diners are served at St. Anthony Manor, and should call Peggi Gohman at (320) 764-5615 for reservation by 1 p.m. the day before your meal. Both sites serve at 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday. This service is through Lutheran Social Service, funded in part by a contract from the Area Agency on Aging with funding from the Federal Older Americans Act through the Minnesota Board on Aging.

Monday: Liver & onions or hamburger patty w/gravy, whipped potatoes w/gravy, mixed vegetables, wheat bread, pineapple tidbits.

Tuesday: Roast beef, green beans gourmet, carrots, wheat bread, chocolate chip cookie.

Wednesday-Pie Day: Oriental chow mein, rice, Oriental vegetables, Mandarin oranges, chocolate mousse pie.

Thursday: Sloppy Joe on a bun, seasoned potato wedges, broccoli with cheese sauce applesauce.

Friday: Mushroom & onion pork chop, baked potato w/sour cream, stewed tomatoes, dinner roll, peach cobbler.

Euchre anytime there are enough players

1% milk is served with every meal. Menu is subject to change. Suggested contribution for persons 60+ and volunteers is $3.50, or what you can afford. Guests under 60 pay $7. 

REMINDER: When there is a choice of entree on the menu, you will receive the first one listed UNLESS you notify us. The coffee pot is on by 11:15 a.m. every Wednesday.

Tuesday: BBQ pork chop, baked potato, cauliflower, bread/margarine, applesauce, milk.

Wednesday: Beef tips/gravy, mashed potatoes, broccoli, bread/margarine, peaches, milk.

Thursday: Roast turkey, mashed potatoes/gravy, green beans, stuffing, cranberry sauce garnish, pumpkin dessert, milk.

Friday: Sloppy Joe, oven-browned potatoes, country blend vegetables, bun/margarine, fresh orange, milk.

Thursday: Club sandwich,
minestroni soup, crunchy Romaine salad, apple crisp.

Friday-Bingo: Salmon loaf, oven-fried potatoes, peas in cream sauce, wheat bread, pudding.
