| | | Mike Schultz to race Motokazie Supercross |
Mike Schultz, X-Games silver medalist, and Kimball native, will race the Motokazie Supercross as he prepares for this year's ESPN Summer X-Games.
"Every lap counts," says Schultz as he gets ready for another run at X-Games Adaptive Super-X in July. Schultz will be competing in the pro classes this Friday, June 25, at the Motokazie Supercross races held at the Scott County Fairgrounds in Jordan.
A tragic crash during the 2008 pro snocross tour resulted in the need to amputate Schultz's leg above the knee. A career ending injury for most, Schultz has returned to racing with a vengeance after building his own prosthetic leg that could withstand the punishment of snocross and motocross.
