• A second search warrant was conducted at 52 Joymar Drive, Bel Clare Acres. Investigators recovered additional stolen property from the St. Stephen storage unit, along with methamphetamine. Present at the time of the warrant were Michael Grandner, age 57, and Jay Sanquist, age 59. Methamphetamine in the amount of 2.6 grams was found in Grandner’s bedroom and 25.3 grams in Sanquist’s bedroom. Grandner was taken to jail and will face charges of fifth-degree possession of controlled substance. Jay Sanquist was also arrested and taken to Stearns County Jail and may face charges of first-degree possession of controlled substances and receiving stolen property. • A third search warrant was conducted at 303 12th Avenue North, St. Cloud. Investigators found controlled substances and four additional stolen guns. Present at the house was Justin Jerome, age 32, and Lucas Brugger, age 29. Brugger was found to have an outstanding department of Corrections felony warrant, and was in possession of 2.9 grams methamphetamine. Brugger was arrested on the warrant and faces additional charges of fifth-degree possession of controlled substance. Jerome was arrested and faces charges of receiving stolen property. The investigation is on-going, and additional stolen property and weapons may be located, along with additional arrests. The investigation was conducted by the Central Minnesota Violent Offenders Task Force, with assistance from the Waite Park Police Department, the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office, the St. Cloud Police Department, and tactical teams from Stearns and Benton Counties, Sheriff’s Office and the St. Cloud Police. The Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force is comprised of deputies from Stearns, Benton, Sherburne, Todd and Morrison Counties, and officers from Sartell, Little Falls, and St. Cloud Police Department.
