Local crime blotters Jan. 10, 2013


Wright County Sheriff’s Office

Jan. 2, Nathan Walter Buranen, 21 of St. Cloud, was arrested in Annandale on charges of criminal damage to property, trespassing, disorderly conduct and terroristic threats.

Jan. 3, Brianna Dawn Leonhard, 29 of Annandale, was arrested in Annandale on an apprehension and detention order from Wright County.

Jan. 4, Jennifer Anne Niewind, 27 of Richmond, was arrested in Stearns County on an apprehension and detention order from Wright County.

Jan. 6, Jeffrey James Sparks, 35 of Annandale, was arrested in Annandale on a Wright County warrant for fifth-degree controlled substance violation.

Jan. 6, Alan Cassius Erdmann, 40 of Annandale, was arrested in Annandale on the charge of domestic assault.

There were 3 property-damage accidents, 2 personal-injury accidents, and 9 car-deer accidents.

There were 14 arrests for DWI,
5 underage-consumption arrests,
2 school bus stop arm violations, and 28 tickets for miscellaneous traffic violations issued this week.

Sunday, January 6

2:22 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a complaint of a civil issue at a residence on 362nd Street, Forest Prairie Township. The deputy advised the party of their options.

3:40 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a snowmobile complaint near the intersection of MN Hwy. 55 and County State Aid Highway 34,
Forest Prairie Township. Upon arrival of the deputy the snowmobiles had left the area.


5:13 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a cellular 9-1-1 call reporting a driving complaint southbound on MN Highway 15 near 240th St.,
Dassel. The deputy located the vehicle and warned the driver of their driving conduct.


On the 6th at 7:06 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance, per the request of the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office, for a medical at Powder Ridge Ski Hill, 93rd Avenue, Kimball. One individual was transported to the Buffalo Hospital.

 

Saturday, January 5

9:40 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a complaint of an unwanted individual at an address on 362nd Street, Forest Prairie Township. Upon arrival the deputy determined it was a civil issue and advised of options.

2:00 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a person under the influence at an address on Church Street, Watkins. A short time later Watkins Ambulance was dispatched and one individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.

Friday, January 4

1:54 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a car/deer accident on MN Highway 24, Forest City Township. There were no injuries reported.




12:03 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a theft from a vehicle on a previous day while parked at the Big Swan Lake public access, County State Aid Highway 21, Kingston Township.

11:14 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a custody issue at a residence on 574th Avenue, City of Manannah. The deputy advised the individual of their options.

Thursday, January 3

8:25 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Eden Valley Rescue and Watkins Ambulance to a medical on Coleman Avenue East, Eden Valley. Eden Valley Rescue arrived on scene and canceled Watkins Ambulance. No transport was needed.

5:04 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted an individual at a residence on Meeker Avenue North, Watkins.

5:52 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a dead deer on MN Highway 55, Manannah Township.  The deer was gone upon the arrival of the deputy.

Wednesday, January 2

10:19 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Eden Valley Rescue to a medical in Stearns County at a residence on MN Highway 22, Eden Lake Township.

6:36 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office recovered a stolen vehicle at CentraSota, 4th Street North, Watkins. The vehicle was towed to the Litchfield Impound Lot.

Tuesday January 1

8:05 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of criminal damage to property at an address on Church Street in Watkins.

Monday, December 31

12:46 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of illegal dumping at Firetrak, Watkins. 

2:49 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of suspicious activity at a residence on County State Aid Highway 19, Kingston.  Upon arrival of deputies, Jesus Manuel Valdez, age 28, Monticello, was arrested for theft of a motor vehicle.

4:47 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance to a medical at a residence on 365th Street, Manannah Township.  One individual was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital.

7:29 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office, per the request of Stearns County, dispatched Watkins Ambulance and Eden Valley Rescue for a medical at an address in Eden Lake Township, Stearns County. A short time later the ambulance was cancelled and no transport was needed.

8:07 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched, Eden Valley Police, Watkins Ambulance and Eden Valley Rescue for a medical at an address on State Street North, Eden Valley. One individual was transported to the Paynesville Hospital.

9:13 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a car/deer accident on County State Aid Highway 34, Forest Prairie Township. There were no injuries and the deputy issued a deer possession tag.
