Local crime blotters July 25, 2013

Wright County Sheriff’s Office

July 16, Jennifer Joy Tessmer, 31 of South Haven, was arrested in Rice County on an apprehension and detention order from Wright County.

July 16, Jacob Scott Omara, 30 of Maple Lake, was charged with burglary.

July 18, Gina Marie Woodford, 19 of South Haven, was arrested in Buffalo on a Wright County warrant for fifth-degree controlled substance violation.

July 18, Jeremy Cromwell Phyle, 31 of Kimball, was arrested in Stearns County on a Wright County warrant for fifth-degree controlled substance violation.

July 19, Jeffrey Scott Markwardt, 43 of South Haven, was arrested in Southside Township on the charge of driving after cancellation inimical to public safety.

There were 30 property-damage accidents, 5 personal-injury accidents, 3 hit-and-run accidents, and 
3 car-deer accidents.

There were 6 arrests for DWI, 
11 underage-consumption arrests, and 63 tickets for miscellaneous traffic violations reported this week.

Monday, July 22, 2013

3:58 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a barking dog complaint near a residence on 567th Ave., Manannah Township. The deputy spoke to the owners and issued a warning.

4:17 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of unsafe conditions on CSAH 34, Forest Prairie Township. The deputy checked the area and the individual was no longer in the area.

Sunday, July 21

8:06 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence on Meeker Ave. N. in Watkins. A report was taken.

Saturday, July 20

5:03 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a car/deer accident near Stockmen’s Greenhouse & Landscaping, US Highway 12, Litchfield Township. The deputy assisted the driver who was able to drive vehicle from scene.

5:59 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of suspicious activity at St Anthony’s Manor on Church Street, Watkins. The deputy made contact and the individual was advised of options.

8:54 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched the Eden Valley Rescue Squad to an unresponsive individual at a residence on Coleman Avenue East, Eden Valley.

Friday, July 19

12:13 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office observed unsafe conditions in the area of MN Highway 15, Kingston Township. The deputy removed the debris from the roadway and there were no further issues.

9:43 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Dassel Rescue Squad and Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical at a residence on MN Highway 15, Kingston Township. One individual was transported to Hutchinson Hospital.

10:24 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched the Eden Valley Fire Department, per the request of the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office, to a report of a sparking power line at a residence on Rolling Acres Drive, Eden Lake Township in Stearns County. The Eden Valley Fire Department assisted in removing a limb from a power line.

10:32 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of unsafe conditions near a residence on Stearns Avenue North, Watkins. The City of Watkins Street Department was contacted and they assisted in standing by for Xcel Energy who was responding to help with the tree across the power line.

Thursday, July 18

9:08 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of child abuse at a residence in the Watkins Trailer Park, Watkins.

9:18 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of child abuse at a residence on 1st Street, Watkins. The information was unfounded at this time.

1:04 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a property damage accident with a turkey on MN Highway 22, Greenleaf Township. There were no injuries reported and the vehicle had some front end damage.

3:46 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance and the Dassel Rescue Squad to a medical at a residence on MN Hwy. 15, Kingston Township. No transport was needed.

6:17 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of threats at a residence on 1st Street, City of Watkins.

10:29 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a domestic disturbance at a residence on Meeker Avenue North, City of Watkins.

Wednesday, July 17

3:07 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a cellular 9-1-1 call reporting a person riding his bike eastbound on MN Highway 55 just outside of Watkins. The caller was transferred to the MN St Patrol.

11:21 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office with a domestic situation on Hillside Drive, Eden Valley.

12:20 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to unlock a vehicle on Central Avenue North, Watkins.

1:38 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance and the Eden Valley Rescue Squad to a medical at a residence on Coleman Avenue East, Eden Valley. One individual was transported to the Paynesville Hospital.

3:23 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance and the Eden Valley Rescue Squad to a medical at a residence on Stearns Ave. E., Eden Valley. The Sheriff’s Paramedic responded but was cancelled before arrival. One individual was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital.

4:50 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a gas drive off at Jack’s Standard on Service Road North, Watkins.

 6:33 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Eden Valley Rescue and Watkins Ambulance for a medical at a residence on Church Street, Eden Valley. No transport was needed.

7:13 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office advised an individual of options regarding harassment occurring at a residence on 360th Street, Manannah Township.

Tuesday, July 16

6:33 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of criminal damage to the signs at the Big Swan Lake Public Access, Kingston Township.

8:06 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of suspicious activity near County State Aid Highway 4 and County State Aid Highway 21, Kingston Township.

10:59 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance and the Kimball Rescue Squad to a medical on 742nd Avenue, Kingston Township. One individual was transported to the Hutchinson Hospital.

1:02 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance to a domestic situation at a residence on 602nd Avenue, Manannah Township. The deputies arrested Eric Shold, age 36 of Watkins, on fifth-degree domestic assault.

1:22 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched the Watkins Ambulance to a medical at a residence on Douglas Drive, Eden Valley. One individual was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital.

2:18 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a dog complaint at a residence on 4th Street North, Watkins. Upon the arrival of the deputy the dog was gone.

4:19 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Eden Valley Police Department at a residence on State Street South, Eden Valley. A deputy transported two juveniles to their residences.

10:53 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the public at Ugly Tom’s Valley Quick Stop on Meeker Ave. West, Eden Valley.
