Wright County Sheriff’s Office

Sept. 25, Patrick Michael Remer, 49 of Maple Lake, was arrested in Buffalo on a Wright County warrant for stalking.

Sept. 26, Michael Jake Gagnon, 41 of Maple Lake, was arrested in Benton County on Wright County warrants for disorderly conduct and violation of a no contact order.

Sept. 26, Matthew Ray Thurman, 19 of Cokato, was arrested in Buffalo on a Wright County warrant for fifth-degree controlled substance violation.

Sept. 28, Dean Eric Kofoed, 55 of Maple Lake, was arrested in Maple Lake Township on the charge of reckless discharge of a firearm.

Sept. 29, Samara Leigh Juhl, 19 of Otsego, was arrested in Buffalo on the charge of aiding and abetting robbery.

Sept. 29, Tyler James Fisher, 19 of Annandale, was arrested in Corinna Township on the charges of second-degree murder and aiding and abetting robbery.

There were 20 property-damage accidents, 4 personal-injury accidents, 2 hit-and-run accidents, and
4 car-deer accidents.

There was 1 arrest for DWI,
5 underage-consumption arrests, and 42 tickets for miscellaneous traffic violations reported this week.

Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013

8:40 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance and the Eden Valley Rescue Squad to a medical at a residence on Stearns Avenue East, Eden Valley. One individual was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital.

9:12 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance and the Watkins Rescue Squad to a medical at the St. Anthony Manor on Church Street, Watkins. One individual was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital.

9:26 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a welfare check at a residence on Meeker Avenue North, Watkins. The deputy spoke to the individual and everything was okay.

2:57 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a missing juvenile at a residence on Veterans Drive, Watkins. The juvenile was located and report was taken.

6:34 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of someone trespassing at St. Anthony Manor, Church Street, City of Watkins. The deputy made contact with the resident who was advised of the complaint.

Saturday, Sept. 28

11:18 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a 9-1-1 call at a residence on 360th Street, Manannah Township. The deputy spoke to the individual and everything is okay.

4:15 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a horse and two llamas on MN Highway 4, Danielson Township. The animals were gone by the time the deputy arrived.

6:10 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to assist the Silver Lake Police Department in locating an individual at a residence on 318th Street, Kingston Township. The deputy made contact at the residence and the information was relayed.

Friday, Sept. 27

7:43 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a possible violation of a harassment order at a residence on 367th Street, North Kingston Township.

7:43 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a civil dispute at a residence on 367th Street, North Kingston Township. The deputy advised an individual of options.

Thursday, Sept. 26

10:04 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of suspicious activity at an address on MN Highway 55, Forest Prairie Township.

9:48 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of possible suspicious activity a residence on 305th Street, Kingston Township.

Wednesday, Sept. 25

12:45 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of harassment at an address on County State Aid Highway 2, Forest Prairie Township.

1:09 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a possible check forgery from the Casey’s General Store, Dassel.

4:13 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to, dispatched Dassel Rescue, and contacted a medical examiner for a person who had committed suicide in a wooded area on 237th Street, Darwin Township.

6:31 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a reoccurring driving complaint on Meeker Avenue North, Watkins.  The Sheriff’s Office will conduct extra patrol in the area.

7:39 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of sheep in the road on 710th Avenue, Kingston Township.  The owner of the sheep was contacted and he brought them home.

Tuesday, Sept. 24

1:49 p.m. while on patrol a deputy came across a suspicious activity at the Kingston County Park, Kingston Township. The Meeker County Parks Supervisor was notified to check the area for possible damage to the park.

3:13 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a civil complaint at an address on 367th Street, North Kingston Township. The deputy made contact and advised of options.

3:47 p.m. while on patrol a deputy stopped a four-wheeler on Cedar Avenue North, Watkins. The deputy warned the driver for their driving conduct within the city limits.

6:59 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched Kimball Rescue and Watkins Ambulance to a medical at a residence on 730th Ave., Kingston Township.  One individual was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital.

7:47 p.m. a Sheriff’s Deputy observed a suspicious fire at a residence on 305th Street, Kingston Township.  A citation will be issued for unpermitted fire and burning prohibited materials.

9:12 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a suspicious smell near CentraSota, 4th Street North, Watkins.  An employee was contacted and responded to tighten a valve on an anhydrous tank.

Monday, Sept. 23

9:16 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a stray horse at a residence on 745th Avenue, Kingston Township.  The individual will keep the horse penned on their property until an owner claims the animal.

12:18 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Eden Valley Rescue to a medical at a residence on County Road 34, Eden Lake Township, Stearns County.

4:39 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a possible violation of a harassment order at a residence on Church Street, Watkins. The deputy spoke to the individual and there was no W-tylerjamesfishersamaraleighjuhlviolation.

5:41 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office arrested Nathan Lee Johanneck, 25 of Kimball, on a Meeker County warrant for a probation violation.

7:14 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of two dogs on MN Highway 55 and 617th St., Manannah Township. The deputy checked and the dogs were no longer in the area.

7:16 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Wright County Sheriff’s Office on MN Highway 55 and County State Aid Highway 17, Forest Prairie Township.

Murder suspects Samara Juhl (left), 19 of Otsego, and Tyler Fisher, 19 of Annandale, were arrested Sunday after 42-year-old Kyle Greene was found dead at his home Saturday morning, Sept. 28. Both are charged with aggravated robbery; Fisher also is charged with second-degree murder. Both are in Wright County Jail.
