Local crime blotters Jan. 9, 2014

Wright County Sheriff’s Office

Dec. 31, Joshua Daniel Kable, 30 of Cokato was arrested in Cokato Township, on Wright County warrants for violation of a domestic abuse no-contact order and domestic assault.

Dec. 31, Amanda Marie Reinke, 25 of Maple Lake, was arrested in Southside Township on a Wright County warrant for failure to register as a predatory offender.

Dec. 31, Eric Robert Eggersgluss, 19 of Maple Lake, was arrested in Maple Lake on a Wright County warrant for minor consumption.

Jan. 1, Jesse Wayne Blaylock, 26 of Cokato, was arrested in Cokato on an apprehension and detention order from Wright County.

Jan. 1, Mitchell Thomas Wraspir, 20 of Cokato, was arrested in Cokato on the charges of disorderly conduct and minor consumption.

Jan. 3, Christopher Adam Gutknecht, 25 of Clearwater, was arrested in Clearwater Township on the charge of domestic assault.

Jan. 5, James Chester Hapka, 49 of Annandale, was arrested in Buffalo on the charge of third-degree DWI.

Jan. 5, Timothy Mark Edworthy, 43 of Annandale, was arrested in Annandale on Anoka County warrants for theft and domestic assault.

There were 55 property-
damage accidents, 10 personal-injury accidents, 2 hit-and-run accidents, and 9 car-deer accidents.

There were 8 arrests for DWI,
23 underage-consumption arrests, and 39 tickets for miscellaneous traffic violations reported this week.

Sunday, January 5, 2014

1:18 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched Dassel Rescue Squad and Gold Cross Ambulance for a report of a property damage accident in the area of US Highway 12 and 738th Avenue, Dassel Township. The deputies made contact with the driver and after investigation arrested Jeremy Brian Bollin, age 27, of Howard Lake, on pending charges of third-degree Driving While Intoxicated, Driving After Suspension, and Open Container in a Motor Vehicle. One individual was treated at the scene.

1:52 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Kimball Rescue Squad and Gold Cross Ambulance for a medical at a residence on 323rd Street, Kingston Township. One individual was treated at the scene.

11:05 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched Watkins Ambulance to an unresponsive individual at a residence on County State Aid Highway 2, Forest Prairie Township. Meeker County Coroner was called to the scene, and a report was taken.

9:58 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Eden Valley Rescue Squad, per the request of the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office, for a medical at a residence on 153rd Street, Eden Lake Township.

Saturday, January 4

1:58 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a residential burglar alarm at a residence on County State Aid Highway 2, Forest Prairie Township. Upon arrival of the deputy everything was okay.

10:14 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance to a medical at a residence on 340th Street, Forest Prairie Township. Watkins Ambulance requested an intercept with Gold Cross Ambulance. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.

4:24 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a cellular 9-1-1 call reporting a vehicle in the ditch on Kingston Street and 113th Avenue, Stearns County. The caller was transferred to Stearns County Sheriff’s Office.

4:33 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a one vehicle property damage accident on MN Highway 55, Watkins. No injuries were reported.

7:28 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an occupied stalled vehicle near the intersection of MN Hwy. 15 and 300th Street, Kingston Township. The deputy made contact with the driver and assisted in contacting a tow which was able to remove the vehicle from the ditch and the motorist continued on their way.

Friday, January 3

3:08 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to an alarm at the Valley Inn, State Street North, Eden Valley.  All was found to be okay on arrival and it was a false alarm.

Thursday, January 2

1:21 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Eden Valley Police Department at a residence on Meeker Avenue East, Eden Valley.

1:57 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a tampered vehicle at Farm Rite Equipment on Parker Avenue West, Dassel.

Wednesday, January 1

12:29 the Sheriff’s Office responded to assist the Eden Valley Police Department with a domestic situation at an address on Stearns Avenue East, Eden Valley.

7:31 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a car/deer accident on MN Highway 15, Dassel Township.  No injuries were reported and a tow was contacted.

Tuesday, December 31, 2013

2:32 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to an alarm at RIE Coatings on Logeais Street, Eden Valley. Upon arrival the deputy determined it was a false alarm.

10:45 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched the Watkins Ambulance to a medical at a residence on 182nd Street, Luxemburg Township in Stearns County. No transport was needed.

2:54 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a dog complaint on County State Aid Highway 3, Manannah Township. The deputy spoke to the individual and will be conducting follow-up.

3:09 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of theft of gas at Jack’s Sinclair on Hwy. 55 in Watkins. The deputy assisted and the customer returned and paid for their gas.

3:15 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office came upon an abandoned vehicle on 365th Street, Forest Prairie Township. The vehicle was not a road hazard.    

8:00 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office, per the request of Stearns County, dispatched Watkins Ambulance for a medical at the Powder Ridge Ski Hill, Kimball. One individual was transported to the St Cloud Hospital.

8:39 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to assist the public at an address on 330th Street, Kingston Township.

Monday, December 30

7:44 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office, per the request of Stearns County, dispatched Eden Valley Rescue for a medical at a residence on MN Highway 22, Eden Lake Township. One individual was transported to Paynesville Hospital by Paynesville Ambulance.
