Local crime blotters March 13, 2014

Wright County Sheriff’s Office

March 4, Patrick Michael Cronin, 39 of Kimball, was arrested in Southside Township on the charge of third-degree DWI.

March 7, Amanda Marie Reinke, 25 of Maple Lake, was arrested in Benton County on Wright County warrants for third-degree controlled substance violation and fifth-degree controlled substance violation.

There were 57 property-damage 
accidents, 6 personal-injury accidents, 1 hit-and-run accidents, and 4 car-deer accidents.

There were 3 arrests for DWI, and 58 tickets for miscellaneous traffic violations reported this week.

3:29 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to an occupied stalled vehicle near a residence on MN Highway 24, Forest City Township. The deputy made contact and assisted the driver in contacting a tow for the disabled vehicle and standing by until the vehicle was removed and there were no further issues.

3:54 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Eden Valley Rescue Squad, Eden Valley Fire Department and Watkins Ambulance, per the request of Stearns County Sheriff’s Office, for a report of a personal injury accident at the intersection of 185th Street and County Road 43, Eden Lake Township. Two individuals were transported to the Paynesville Hospital.

9:25 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Dassel Rescue and Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical at a residence on County State Aid Highway 27, Kingston. The ambulance was canceled prior to arrival as there was no medical need.

10:42 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Eden Valley Rescue and Watkins Ambulance to a medical at a residence on Meadowlark Lane, Eden Valley.  One individual was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital.

5:31 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance to a medical at Powder Ridge on 93rd Avenue, Stearns County. One individual was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital.

Saturday, March 8

12:40 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of theft at a residence on County State Aid Highway 27, Kingston Township.

4:03 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Eden Valley Rescue Squad and Watkins Ambulance, per the request of the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office, for a report of a medical at Todd’s Place, State Street North, City of Eden Valley. One individual was transported to the St Cloud Hospital.

6:45 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a possible drunk driver on a snowmobile at a residence on 695th Avenue, Kingston Township. The deputy checked the area and found that the driver and snowmobile had left the area prior to arrival.

7:06 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance, per the request of the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office, for a report of a medical at Powder Ridge on on 93rd Avenue, Maine Prairie Township. One individual was transported to St. Cloud Hospital.

9:02 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance, per the request of the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office, for a report of a medical at a residence on Cherry Street South, City of Kimball. One individual was transported to Paynesville Hospital.

Friday, March 7

12:37 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Eden Valley Rescue for a medical at a residence on State Street, Eden Valley.

7:11 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance to a one-vehicle rollover on MN Highway 55, Stearns County.  There was no one in or around the vehicle on arrival.

1:43 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a possible theft from a residence on Luella Street, Watkins. It was determined the item had been misplaced and not stolen.

5:04 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a driving complaint on northbound MN Hwy. 15, Kingston Township.  A deputy located, stopped and warned the driver on their conduct.

7:36 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Eden Valley Rescue Squad, per the request of the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office, for a medical at residence on County Road 180, Eden Lake Township.

Thursday, March 6

1:36 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of child maltreatment at a residence on Glen Road North, Watkins. The report was referred to Meeker County Social Services.

1:52 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched the Eden Valley Rescue Squad and Watkins Ambulance to a medical at a residence on Elk Avenue, Eden Valley. One individual was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital.

2:59 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a violation of a no contact order at a residence in the Watkins Trailer Park in Watkins.  Upon arrival of the deputy Timothy Albin Dobis, age 50 of Watkins, was arrested on a Meeker County Apprehension and Detention Order and also for violating a Domestic Abuse No-Contact Order.

6:40 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a one-vehicle accident on MN Highway 15 and 300th Street in Kingston Township. A report was taken, no injuries were reported.

Wednesday, March 5

7:13 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance to a medical at the Hilltop Care Center on Luella Street, Watkins. One individual was transported to St. Cloud Hospital.

Tuesday, March 4

1:41 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a driving complaint southbound on MN Highway 15, Kingston Township. The info. was passed on to the MN State Patrol and a deputy contacted the caller to answer some questions pertaining to the situation.

4:12 p.m. a Meeker County deputy came across a vehicle stuck in the snow on Meeker Stearns Street, Stearns County. The deputy provided traffic control while the vehicle was removed.

Monday, March 3

9:59 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance for a medical at the Hilltop Care Center, Watkins. One individual was transported to the Paynesville Hospital.

12:44 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a cellular 911 call reporting a stolen vehicle from an address in the Watkins Trailer Park. The caller was advised that a repossession company had called advising they were recovering the vehicle for lack of payment.

1:09 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance and Eden Valley Rescue for a medical at an address on Douglas Drive, Eden Valley. One individual was transported to the St Cloud hospital.

5:26 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of suspicious activity at an address on 617th Avenue, Manannah Township.
