March 11 Township election results

 

Fair Haven Township

Fair Haven Township’ annual election was March 11. Shannon Bollman was elected clerk with 38 votes. Jena Meyer was the one elected supervisor with 22 votes. Kim Waln received 11 votes. There were various write-ins.

Eden Lake Township

Eden Lake Township elected Robert Haag as supervisor. Stacey Thelen was elected clerk.

Maine Prairie Township

Maine Prairie Township elected John Wicker as supervisor. There were 25 votes. The levy is the same as in the past, no change.

Forest Prairie Township

Incumbent Jeff Pauly  was elected supervisor with 18 votes. Incumbent Robert Geislinger was elected clerk with 18 votes.

Levies were set: $200,000 for roads and bridges, $50,000 for fire and rescue, $20,000 for Watkins ambulance, and $11,000 for the general fund.

Kingston Township

Incumbent Ned Root was elected supervisor with 25 votes. Incumbent Gail Schiefelbein was elected clerk with 25 votes.

Levies were set at $177,950 for roads and bridges, $42,580 for fire, $55,650 for the general fund, and $10,000 for the reserve fund.

Manannah Township

Steve Schmidt was elected supervisor with 34 votes. Incumbent Deb McCann was elected clerk with 33 votes.

Levies were set at $110.000 for roads and bridges, $35,000 for fire, and $20,000 for the general fund. There was no increase for the 2015 levies.

Luxemburg Township

Luxemburg Township had
18 voters.

Pete Hansen received 18 votes and was re-elected to a 3-year term as supervisor.

Lee Bautch received 16 votes and was re-elected to a 2-year term as clerk.
