May 7: Eden Valley Blood Drive

The American Red Cross wants us to mark our calendars for Wednesday, May 7, when they will be visiting Eden Valley from 1-7 p.m. at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Every donor is important and needed, but this will be a difficult time to get people to commit being that our spring is slow at coming this year. Please help the American Red Cross reach their goal by making an appointment and informing other friends and family about the importance of donating.

Donors must be at least 17 years old (16 years old with a signed Red Cross parental/guardian consent form), at least 110 pounds, be in good general health, have NOT donated in the last 56 days OR 112 days if your last donation was double reds, height/weight requirements for donors younger than 19 years may apply.

Contact Bonnie at (320) 453-2574, or (320) 282-1468; to make an appointment, obtain a 16-year-old consent form, or with questions.

This drive is participating in the Young Minds Change Lives Educational Scholarship Program and all donors are needed to ensure that our goal is reached to obtain maximum scholarship money for our qualifying school graduates.

Call the American Red Cross at (866) 236-3276, then option #3 if you have medical or travel questions.

Bring along your identification, it is needed to donate.
