Anthony “Tony” Deladi of Watkins died unexpectedly Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013, while working in Lafayette, Ind. He was 41.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, at the Ertl Funeral Home in Watkins, with parish prayers at 6 p.m. Fr. John Brunner will officiate. Private interment will take place at St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery in Watkins.
Anthony “Tony” P. Deladi was born Aug. 13, 1971, in Edina, Minn. to Michael and Gloria (Yanish) Deladi. He grew up in Shorewood and had resided in Watkins for the past seven years. Tony was employed in sales for American Time and Signal in Dassel. He was an avid sports fanatic.
Tony was preceded in death by his father Michael Deladi; grandparents Norbert Yanish, and Paul and Ruth Deladi.
He is survived by his mother and step-father Gloria and Frank Hentges of Watkins; brother and sister-in-law Christopher (and Mary Kay) Deladi of Hanover; niece and nephew Michael and Kirsten Deladi of Hanover; grandmother Rosetta Yanish of Watkins; aunts, uncles, and cousins.
