Lola Heinrichs, 97

Lola Heinrichs of Litchfield, formerly of Watkins, died Sunday, March 31, 2013, at the Emmanuel Home in Litchfield. She was 97.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 5, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Watkins with Fr. John Brunner W-L.-Heinrichsand Fr. Richard Gross officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the church on Friday. Inurnment will be in the St. Anthony Cemetery.

Lola Heinrichs was born July 18, 1915, in Litchfield to George and Emma (Wheeler) Adams. She was united in marriage to Al Heinrichs in 1935. Together they farmed near Watkins for many years. Al died in 1971. Lola was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Watkins, and was formerly active with the Council of Catholic Women. Her hobbies included bowling, bingo, playing cards, and she especially enjoyed visiting with people. Lola had been a resident at the Emmanuel Home in Litchfield for the past 10 years.

Lola was preceded in death by her parents; husband Al; son-in-law Tom Augustine; one brother and two sisters.

She is survived by her daughter Emma Augustine of Blaine; son and daughter-in-law Don (and Sandy) Heinrichs of Litchfield; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great grandchildren.

Arrangements are with the Ertl Funeral Home in Watkins.
