Paul Wilfahrt, 65

Paul Wilfahrt of Sartell died Thursday, April 18, 2013, at the St. Cloud Hospital. He was 65.

A celebration of his life will be held from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, April 27, at Bunker Hills Activity Center, 550 Bunker Lake Boulevard NW in Andover.

Paul W. Wilfahrt was born Feb. 7, 1948, in New Ulm to Leo and Ruth (Runck) Wilfahrt. He married Linda Duty Jan. 10, 1970, in Atchison, Kan. Paul was a teacher at Cathedral High School in New Ulm, principal at Lester Prairie High School, and principal at Kimball Area High School. Following 30 years in education, he began working with technology, most recently with Infinite Campus in Blaine.

Paul loved his family and grandchildren. He enjoyed model railroading, celebrating Halloween, and flying kites.

Paul is survived by his wife Linda of Sartell; children Anne (and Jim) Warburton, Bob (and Lisa Gray) Wilfahrt, and Alison (and Bill) Perry; grandchildren Lucy, Ben, Henry, Ada, and Lydia; parents Leo and Ruth; brothers Alan, Jeff, and Charlie; and sister Jan Whitcomb.

Paul’s family would like to thank the nursing staff at St. Cloud Hospital for their compassionate and professional care.
