Esther Reischl of St. Joseph died Tuesday, July 9, at the St. Cloud Hospital. She was 75.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 23, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in St. Joseph with Reverend Jerome Tupa, OSB officiating. Relatives
and friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday, July 22, and after 9 a.m. Tuesday, at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Joseph. Parish prayers will be at 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will take place in the St. Joseph Parish Cemetery in St. Joseph,.
Esther E. Reischl was born Nov. 3, 1937, in St. Joseph to Joseph and Pauline (Lauermann) Reischl. She was employed in housekeeping by the Harry Knevel family for 35 years and later by St. Benedict’s Monastery for 15 years. She retired Nov. 1, 2002. She was a member and past president of the St. Joseph Legion Auxiliary Post 328, Daughters of Isabella, Y2K Lions of St. Joseph, St. Joseph Senior Citizens, and Stearns County History Museum.
Esther is preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters Renee Midas, Marcy Pfannenstein, Jeanette Johannes, Marion Wasner, and Sylvester “Sonny”.
She is survived by her brothers and sisters Carol Reischl of Holdingford, Richard of Watkins, Arthur of Clear Lake, James of St. Cloud, Edmund (and Mary Lou) of Eden Valley, and JoAnn Schleper of Sartell, and many nieces and nephews.
