Evelyn Dockendorf of Cold Spring died Sunday, Aug. 3, 2013, at the St. Cloud Hospital. She was 85.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cold Spring. Relatives and friends may call from 9-11 a.m.
Tuesday morning at the Wenner Funeral Home in Cold Spring. Inurnment will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Marty (Pearl Lake), Minn.
EvelynRose Dockendorf was born Jan. 14, 1928, in Pearl Lake to Henry and Mathilda (Pelzer) Nistler. She married Edward Martin Dockendorf June 24, 1950, in Holy Cross Catholic Church in Marty. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, fishing, playing cards, and loved visiting with others.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her brothers Adrian, Norbert, and Jerome Nistler; and one grandchild.
She is survived by her loving husband Edward; children Bob of Carlton, Diane (and Tom) Blommer of St. Cloud, Gary (and Mary Lee) of Richmond, Linda (and Jim) Sand of St. Cloud, Bill (and Laurie) of Richfield, Steve (and Cindy) of Champlin, Sue (and Bernie) Gregory of Pearl Lake, and Mark of Baxter; siblings George Nistler, Delphine Wirtzfeld, Ralph Nistler, Donna Dols, and Mary Tank; 21 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
