Cindy Croat of South Haven died Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013, at the Mayo Clinic from complications of leukemia. She was 51.
A gathering and time of sharing will be held from 5-8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12, at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Kimball.
Cindy Ann Croat was born in Loring, Maine, Oct. 5, 1961, to the late James and Kayoko (Eto) Gohman. She graduated from St. Cloud Apollo High School in 1980. She earned a degree in nursing and worked as oncology RN at the St. Cloud Hospital.
She was a fun-loving caring person, a joy to be around.
She is survived by daughters Nichole Gohman, and Jessica Croat; sisters Janet Gohman and Penny Ruehle; brother Michael Gohman; and her companion Alfred Schindele.
The family wishes to thank her relatives, friends, co-workers and the medical staff at St. Cloud and Mayo, who helped with her care and support during her battle with leukemia. The outpouring of support from everyone in the South Haven area during her battle with leukemia was tremendous. She was lucky to live in such a great place.
