George Robuck of Annandale died Monday, Oct. 14, 2013, at his home. He was 83.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., with memorial services held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at Concordia Lutheran Church with Rev. Timothy Nerud officiating. Interment will be at Concordia Lutheran Cemetery.
George Maurice Robuck was born May 26, 1930, in Crescent City, Calif., to George and Lorella (Foster) Robuck. Following graduation in 1948 from Annandale High School, he
enlisted in the U.S. Army serving his country during the Korean War. He married Dorothy Seutter Nov. 17, 1951, at Concordia Lutheran Church, and they lived in New Hope, Lake Sylvia, and for the past eight years, at Southbrook. He retired in 1990 after 33 years of employment with American Linen Supply Company. He enjoyed fishing, collecting Jim Beam bottles, and for the past 22 years selling collectables at the Wright County Swappers Meet.
George was preceded in death by his sister Barbara.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy of Annandale; sons Bruce of South Haven, and Craig (and Bonnie Shadduck) of South Haven; three grandchildren Katie (and Rick) O’Neil, Jor-el (and Kristi), and Jasmine; and three great-grandchildren Andrew, Rosie, and Devon.
The urn bearers will be Bruce and Craig Robuck, and the arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Annandale.
Memorials are preferred to Concordia Lutheran Church.
