Frank Hancock of Kimball died peacefully Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 64.
A Celebration of Life is being planned at a future date.
Frank Dean Hancock was born Jan. 15, 1949, in Grand Rapids, Minn., to Frank and Francis (Illand) Hancock. He was united in marriage to Deborah in June of 1985 in Kerrville, Texas.
Frank loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping and taking long walks. He was a great craftsman in woodworking and any task that he undertook. Frank was a great listener and conversationalist, as he was highly knowledgeable about many subjects. He had a kind and gentle manner. His greatest love was his family. Not only was his wife Debbie the love of his life, but also his business partner. Frank was extremely proud of his sons and was a very loving father. Frank is highly looked up to by his brothers, and will
always be their hero. Frank loved babies and the recent birth of his great-nephew Nolan Schillewaert brought him great joy. He will be missed by many.
Frank is preceded in death by both his parents.
He is survived by his wife Deborah of Kimball; children Frank and Patrick of St. Paul, and Harrison of Kimball. He is survived also by brothers Sean (and Paulette) of Duluth, and Kevin (and Sherry) of Cokato, along with nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous other relatives and friends.
Arrangements were made with the Cremation Society of Minnesota.
