Grace Leuck of Eden Valley died Monday, June 2, 2014, at the Paynesville Hospital. She was 95.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, June 6, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Eden Valley with Rev. Bryan Hopfensperger officiating. Friends and relatives may call from 12 noon until the time of services at 1 p.m. at the church in Eden Valley. Burial will be in the Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
Grace O. Leuck was born Oct. 24, 1918, in Goose Prairie, Minn., to Otto and Gunda (Peterson) Lund. She married Raymond Leuck March 9, 1943, in
Minneapolis. Grace was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Eden Valley. She enjoyed reading, gardening, completing jig saw puzzles, sewing, crocheting and cooking. Her family meant the world to her and she will be dearly missed.
Grace was preceded in death by her husband Raymond in 2008; daughter Elaine Gunderson in 2011; siblings Gordon Lund, Thelma McArdell, Clarice Schwartzbeck, Orville Lund, Florence Searle, Elmer Lund, and Faye Lund.
She is survived by her children Carol (and Gene Rohrbeck) Leuck of Hopkins, Margaret (and Pete) Peters of Fargo, N.D., Paul (and Vicki) Leuck of Gordon, Wis.,and Jim (and Pranom) Leuck of Ft. Worth, Texas; brother Earl Lund; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the American Diabetes Association.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home of Eden Valley.
