The Eden Valley Area Library wants you. We are looking to form a Jr. Volunteer Committee to help plan activities for EV-W teens. Please stop by the library during any of these times: Tuesday from 3-6, Wednesday from 12-3, Thursday from 3-6, Friday from 5:30-8, Saturday from 9-12 noon, to pick up an application. There are many volunteer opportunities available to match your schedule! We look forward to visiting with you and hearing some of your ideas as well. Friends of the Eden Valley Area Library will meet at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7 in the library (park behind the building). We are actively seeking new members to join the “Friends of the Library” in any capacity. Annual dues are as low as $5. One meeting per month. Help can be voluntary or financial or both. The Friends of the Library has put on several fun events already and has some exciting things coming up. Please join us.
Eden Valley Area Library has informational handouts about the new MNSURE health care. An informational video is also available to watch via computer. The Kimball Public Library is offering basic computer and Internet help on the first and third Monday of each month, beginning 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 16. If you need help setting up an e-mail account, doing a basic web search, using Word or Excel, an experienced volunteer can help you. Please call the library at (320) 398-3915, to make an appointment.
