EV-W FFA fruit sales a success

The Eden Valley-Watkins FFA chapter would like to thank everyone for their continued support of our annual fruit fundraiser. The EV-W chapter sold an amazing $21,690 worth of fruit this year. We had 35 students selling fruit this year.  Proceeds from the sales are used to pay for FFA competitions, trips, FFA jackets, T-shirts, and leadership training.  Students who sold fruit were rewarded with a pizza party.  Some students earned their rodeo tickets, and 17 students earned an official FFA jacket.

The fruit came in a large semi this year, but due to the icy conditions, had to be unloaded by an assembly line of 43 students.  FFA teamwork was necessary to get 10 pallets of fruit off the truck and into the ag shop.  The top
3 fruit sellers this year were Dillon
Blonigen, Mandy Molitor, and Bobby Kipf.  Each received a prize from the FFA alumni chapter.  Thanks again for your continued support.
