College: Biology/Life Sciences degree at Moorhead State University.
My academic achievements: Graduating in four years.
Other life achievements: My wife and I built a house in Watkins 10 years ago; we had a contractor but we did a lot of the work ourselves.
My favorite school experience (as a student): Making it to the State Tournament in basketball and baseball as a senior at Minnewaska.
My favorite school experience (as a teacher): Preparing students for the fabulous MCA III science test.
Something most people don’t know about me: I student-taught and lived for a year in New Zealand. I also taught for a year in Hawaii.
