Cold Spring Coop announces 2013 Home Town Pride Days and Purina® Check-R-Board® Days

Cold Spring Coop is announcing their 2013 Home Town Pride Days and Purina® Check-R-Board® Days, customer appreciation events to thank loyal customers in the Cold Spring community. Cold Spring Coop will kick off their Home Town Pride Days and Purina® Check-R-Board® Days from 8 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. Friday, July 26, and again from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. Saturday, July 27, with activities including a drawing for a Flat Screen TV (drawing to take place at end of day Saturday; need not be present to win).

The AD Company, reputable advertising, design, and consulting business, announced the launch of a brand new website, Fun 4 Kids. Fun 4 Kids compiles area parks, recreation, arts, events, family activities, services for kids, and fun galore all in ONE place!

The Valley Daze 5K Run/Walk began at 8 a.m. Saturday, June 22, starting at Eden Valley Elementary. There were a total of 53 participants this year.

Pie and ice cream social June 27

There will be a pie and ice cream social with fun and games at Lake Union Covenant Church from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, June 27.

This event is sponsored by the Women of the Lake Union Covenant Church located at 74526 CSAH 19 in rural South Haven. Enjoy barbeques, hot dogs, pie and ice cream!

Mozena honored at open house

w-MozenasCongratulations, Dean Mozena and the whole Mozena family. Dean has been driving bus for Hendricks Bus Service and the Kimball schools for 55 years. He’s not retiring anytime soon, but his family held an open house to commemorate his 55 years so far. Pictured are the Mozenas: Penny, Pam, Karen, Dean, Kari, and Dale.
