Come, celebrate with us!

W-FHOS-03The 2012 Fair Haven Old Settlers Royalty invites you to this year’s celebration, the 87th annual. From left, Princess Gracie Lantto, Queen Jenna Maus, Miss Congeniality Kenzie Traurig. These girls will say their farewells in a program at 1 p.m. (Note that there is no coronation Saturday because there were not enough girls to participate this year. Gracie, Jenna and Kenzie could be the last Fair Haven royalty.)

Valley Daze 2013

W-IMG 6851Another Valley Daze is now history. A raging thunderstorm cut Friday evening’s activities short, canceling the kiddie tractor pull and the fireworks. The grand parade was cancelled this year only for construction work that was planned but not yet begun. It still was a fun weekend, with lots to do for everyone. Thanks to the many volunteers and all who worked so hard to make this year’s Valley Daze yet another success!

The Watkins Lioness Club will again be sponsoring the Little Miss Watkins Pageant during the Kraut ’N Wurst annual celebration in August.
