There are 20 students in our class. We'll learn about National Parks this Spring as we compose research papers and create iMovies with the information. We'll also learn about forces and energy in science class.
Sixth-grade students tour the State Capitol and Historic Fort Snelling in May. We learned to ski at Powder Ridge in December, which proved to be an adventure for everyone!

The Eden Valley-Watkins Drama Club will be presenting the comedy “Leaving Iowa” for their spring production. Public performances will be on Friday and Saturday, May 2 and 3 at 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday, May 5 at 2 p.m. on the High School Cafeteria Stage. Tickets will be sold at the door. Adults $5, Students and Senior Citizens $4.
“Leaving Iowa” is a comedy about the Browning family and how their annual vacations made an impact on their lives. Mark your calendars for this very funny, touching play.

There are 21 students in our class. Social studies in sixth grade focuses on the history and geography of Minnesota. We began with the Ice Age and will finish in the modern day. We created large maps
of Minnesota showing landforms, products, and tourist destinations.
In May, we go to St. Paul to tour the State Capitol and historic Fort Snelling. This trip is a favorite because it highlights all that we have learned throughout the year in social studies.
