Sixth grade has art, health, and computers in our room. In art, we will spend time creating mosaics and dream-cathchers. In health, we will look at personal hygiene and the dangers of drugs and alcohol. We will work with Google Drive on computers and we will create an iMovie.
For our field trip, we will go to the Capitol and Fort Snelling in St. Paul May 23. We also went skiing in December.
There are 25 students in our class. This year we are focusing on United States History, beginning with native Americans, European explorers, colonization, American Revolution, and writing our U.S. Constitituion.
We learn a lot about fractions, decimals, measurements, and data analysis.
