Eden Valley-Watkins fifth-grade boys’ basketball

EV-W Elementary Concert Monday, March 10

The EV-W fourth- through sixth-grades will be presenting their Spring Concert at 7:30 p.m. Monday, March 10, at the EV-W High School, Auxiliary Gym. The theme is “Americana” and the students will take you on a trip through the states. The fifth- and sixth-grade band and choirs will be performing. Also, the fourth- through sixth-grade general music classes will be singing songs old and new. Join us for the concert and let’s see if we can pursuade Mother Nature to send Spring to us! Everyone is invited.

EV-W AgStar Grant

Eden Valley-Watkins Schools will be offering a new Food Chemistry course next year. AgStar Financial has provided a grant for W-EVW-lab-aids-pic$2,500 to purchase food science lab equipment, lab masters, and lab kits. This new course will fulfill the state Chemistry graduation requirement for juniors and seniors at EV-W high school.

This is in addition to the grants listed in last week’s paper
(Feb. 20, 2014), but part of the other Food Chemistry course.

EV-W Prom Extravaganza

Do you have some gently used prom dresses? 

Are you looking to make room in your closet while putting a little extra money in your pocket?

Do you still need to find your prom dress for this year?

Bring your gently used dress(es) to the EV-W Prom Extravaganza, and shop around to find the dress of your dreams.

Please have your dress(es) on a hanger, already priced and sized, the morning of the event. Student Council is not in charge of the dresses. You will be in charge of your own dress as well as money exchanged for the dress. Secure changing rooms will be provided. Refreshments also will be available for purchase.
