The Kimball Area High School Senior Choir held their spring concert Sunday, May 19, in the high school cafetorium. Many of the selections performed were from the musicals “Phantom of the Opera” and “Les Miserables.” The evening started with Kaitlyn Truenow performing “Think of Me” with Caleb Anderson, Ryan Luitjens and Brady Mehr as backup singers. The full Choir opened the concert with “Everybody Sang.” Solos were performed by Bridgette Anderson, “Far from the Home I Love,” Brady Mehr, “Danny Boy,” Ariel Laabs, “On My Own,” Danielle Helgeson, “I Dreamed a Dream,” Caleb Anderson, “Only Hope,” Shelby Schiefelbein, “Castle On a Cloud,” Ryan Luitjens, “Stars,” and Holly Dahlinger, “I Want to Hold Your Hand.” Camen Markgraf and Logan Bartholomew sang a duet, “Your Guardian Angel.” “All I Ask of You” was performed by an ensemble whose members were Bridgette Anderson, Holly Dahlinger, Danielle Helgeson, Savanna Gohmann, Caleb Anderson, Ryan Luitjens, and Brady Mehr. The full Choir also performed a medley from “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” and rounded out the evening with a rendition of “America.” The choir is directed by Arlene Sands and technical support was provided by Lori Miller.
