Four Kimball FFA Members attended Leading the Challenge (LTC), a leadership conference Jan. 25 and 26, in Morris, Minn.; these individuals include: Sami Reinert, Cole Czech, Seahara Mancini, and Joelle Edwards. LTC is a Region V conference held every year, run by region officers and is open only to FFA members. There are sessions completely around the ideas of leadership. This year the theme was “Changing the Tide” and the conference was based around changing yourself, being a leader, and new ideas. FFA members also enjoyed skiing, snowboarding and tubing at Andies Ski Hill in Kensington, Minn., where they faced the cold and had a little more than a lot of fun.
The skills learned in this conference will be brought back to the Kimball FFA Chapter and will be used in our effort to be “Sunny and 75”, as it is the theme this year for the Kimball FFA Chapter. For those who do not know, the Kimball FFA Chapter will be charted (existed) for 75 years this spring. That’s huge. Help us celebrate and make an impact. Anything can make the biggest of differences. Look for our next news update about recent contests. And think 75 degrees.
