Local shoe box drop off site for Operation Christmas Child

Every year millions of people lovingly pack shoe boxes full of gifts and supplies and give them to Operation Christmas Child. They are then delivered to needy children around the world. For the first time in the 20 years of this project we have a local drop off site in the area, River Of Life church in Cold Spring. National Collection Week is Monday, Nov. 18, through Monday, Nov. 25. Shoe boxes can be dropped off at the following times:

Monday, Nov. 18, 1-3 p.m.

Tuesday, Nov. 19, 4-6 p.m.

Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2-4 p.m.

Thursday, Nov. 21, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.

Friday, Nov. 22, 3-5:30 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 23, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

Sunday, Nov. 24, 1-3 p.m.

Monday, Nov. 25, 9-11 a.m.

In addition to the gifts and supplies, Operation Christmas Child brings hope and the good news of Jesus to the children. For more information about OCC, or to find out how to pack a shoebox, visit www.samaritanspurse.org/occ.
