Watkins Santa Claus Days Dec. 14

Santa Claus is coming to town! The festivities begin with the Watkins Lioness hosting Christmas shopping for kids from

9-11 a.m. in the Watkins Village Hall. Bring your children to buy gifts for parents, grandparents, siblings, and teachers. All gifts are $1 and Lioness members will help wrap and tag them.

The Watkins Theater Group will be hosting their annual Christmas play at 1 p.m. This year’s production is “Disorder in the Court”. Admission is free, but food shelf donations are greatly appreciated. There will be random drawings for prizes after the play and Santa will stop in for pictures. Bring your own camera, please. The Watkins Chamber of Commerce will also be handing out bags of candy.

Following the program, the Watkins Lions will be providing free hot chocolate and hot dogs at the skating rink with horse drawn sleigh rides by Windy River Percherons. Everyone is welcome.
