“And the Award goes to…!” The annual Meeker County 4-H Awards Celebration was held Sunday, Oct. 13, at the First Lutheran Church in Litchfield. The Awards Celebration began at 2 p.m. with Federation Officers and Council Members honoring Meeker County 4-H’ers for their accomplishments during the past year. During awards, we installed our new Federation Officers, recognized our volunteers, donors, champions, and other award winners. Prior to the program, Anne Gathje, Calvin Kipf, Elijah Michaletz, and Curt Wedin served ice cream floats. Thank you to all volunteers and 4-H’ers who came early to help set up and stayed afterwards to clean up. I was once again overwhelmed at your helpfulness! Also, thank you to all donors. Our program would not be as successful without you.
